Thumbs up Corn, BB ribs, Sweet taters, Hot Dogs on Weber grill with pron

My 4th BBQ meal.

Target Supper Grocery had 10 ears of corn for $1.00.
Soaked corn in water for 1.5hrs. Then positioned corn for offset cooking away from direct heat. Cooking on my $10 used craigslist Green Weber Grill.

Baby Back ribs, Target had them for $1.69 lb. Had to place some angle iron on the weber rack and then added two cast iron grates from another cooker to get ribs to sit over the corn. Ribs were seasoned with Stubb's BBQ Spice Rub, a little Sea Salt, Garlic Pepper, fresh cracked Black Pepper.

Two sweet potatoes from Target. In smoke and then foiled for last hr.

Corn done after three hours.

Ribs done after 4.5 hrs and ready for sauce.

Sauced, glazed and ready to eat.

Pecan wood smoke thru out the ribs gave them nice color and flavor.

Part of the Target $11.45 meal. The corn was my best ever great smoke flavor, I have grilled it many times but it never got any smoke flavor, if the family does not like smoked meat, they won't like this offset corn method. No butter on corn, it did not need it! Love the sweet potatoes. Good news, lots of leftovers

I also did a package of Ball Park all beef hot dogs.

Man, that all looks freaking awesome! Nice work. I could use some tips on corn, its so crazy cheap right now it's not funny. I make a mean corn saute on a stov-top, but haven't played much with grilled corn.
Nice job!

Thanks!

This was my first time using Photobucket for pron. I could use tips on how to get faster using it. Like which link to copy from pictures and paste here... this took a lot of time to do one at a time. Is there a way to copy multiple link at once and paste

There has to be a better way than what I did, I hope

Nice job!
I always water soak the corn for an hour or so, it just steam cooks on the grates.

Other than the awesome flavor, the next best thing is that when grilled/smoked ALL of the "silk" comes off the ear of corn at once with just one pull.

If any is left, I just put the whole ear, shucks and all in the frig and shuck it and eat it cold. Like I am going to do tonight

Dang, I wish we could get cheap corn in this part of the country. It's at least 50 cents an ear still, and I love doing it in the husks like that. Great looking meal, even better looking price!

What I have discovered that works quickly is click on the attachment icon. Then scroll down to “upload from link” part. You can paste multiple urls at one time.

Ya done good, sir! The food looks great, nice score on the Weber, and all those groceries for 11 bucks is killer. No doubt about it!
