Does anyone know anything at all about this smoker? I have a chance to buy one for $250 barely used. Retails for around $600. Any info would be great Only thing is it is electric.

I believe this is a Chinese knockoff brand for Cookshack.
I also heard they are not insulated between the inner and outer walls.

My big ? is where do you get parts for them when they fail?

I do not work for either company but enjoy the heck out of my little Cookshack Smokette or model 008.

I was going to buy one off of craigslist local. It seemed liked a good deal, but I didnt have the cash. The one I was going to buy needed a a few parts, so I called the people at smokin tex and they seemed really nice. They are out of Plano, TX. http://www.smokintex.com/
