According to Vinny this stuff is out of this world, well not exactly but it sounds like it might propel you there http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...highlight=1946

If I remember correctly wasn't the winning entry (Skippy Burger) share the recipe to be published?

I was under the impression that the winning entry had to submit the recipe.

Farmingdale: More free sliders

The folks at Farmingdale Meat Market are at it again. Two weeks ago they gave away more than 300 sliders (mini burgers) made from their new "1946" burger blend. (Named after the year of the shop's founding, it's a rich mix of chuck, Kobe brisket, short ribs and rib cap, coarsely ground on a daily basis.) This Saturday, May 30, the goal is to give away 500 burgers. Why not head to Farmingdale and help them out?
The 1946 blend will be on sale for $5.49/pound. Farmingdale Meat Market is at 210 Main St., Farmingdale, 516-249-8200.

Nineteen "farty" six?

I'll pass (oh, no!) on it. We were not impressed but to each his own.
