Block Party for 125
Doing a block party for 125. Serving Pulled Pork (w/buns), Chicken Legs & Thighs, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and, of course, BBQ Sauce. Plus they want 2 people serving. I quoted $1500 before they mentioned they wanted 2 servers, plus plates, napkins, and plastic ware. They provide everything else. Tent, tables, drinks, etc.
Does this sound right? Thanks for your input! Frank

Thats $12 a plate. Thats plenty in my book. How long are your servers required to stay on site?

Sounds real doable for that price. I usually provide 4 staff per 100; take the job and run.

You'll be fine.
You'll have roughly $4 per person in costs: two meats, three sides, and consumables. I've charged anywhere from $8-14 on this type of gig. If you are paying servers (I've always found volunteers or "volunteer" my sons and pay them with food!) you'll only need them for an hour or so. Good luck.
