Default My son likes my brisket!

I have a 4 year old son who won't eat much of anything. I've cooked countless pork butts, ribs and most recently a couple of briskets and he won't try any of them.

Well tonight that changed!!! I cooked some brisket today and when I was slicing it up he asked what that was. I told him and he seemed interested in trying it so I put a small piece up to his mouth and he opened his mouth and in it went. At first he didn't seem all that interested and went up stairs to get his bath from his mom. After his bath, he asked me what the name of that meat was and I told him "brisket". He said, "Can I have some more?" He went on to eat a little bit more and said he wanted to have some more for lunch tomorrow.

I'm like a pig is chit.........just as happy as happy can be!!!!!

Nice! If I could only get my wife to have the same attitude. She still says she hates brisket from when she lived in Dallas and won't try it. She can be more stubborn than a 4 year old.

My four girls can be picky eaters...

when they eat my meals it is a MAJOR victory. I'm as proud as a peacock.

well done.

I'd love it if the kids got interested and wanted to help (when they get a little older). That would be great!
