Blount BBQ Bash - East TN contest this weekend
I know that we have a bunch of East Tennessee folks on here so I wanted to make sure that everyone knew about the Blount BBQ Bash this weekend. I'll be there volunteering tonight and tomorrow.
This is the 3rd year for this charity event. The first two years they raised $50,000 for local charities. Teams are checking in today and turn in times start at 10:30am Saturday. There will be live bands from 1 to late evening. They also have a fun canoe race. It's at the Springbrook Corporate center in Alcoa, just by the airport. I know it's been rainy all week and it's not looking great this morning, but come on out tomorrow and enjoy a great event!
