I will be offering pulled chicken sandwiches when I vend at the farmers market.
Currently when I make pulled chicken for myself I have been using bone in skin on chicken thighs. I have never used whole chickens for pulled chicken.
I can get chicken thighs or whole chickens from Costco for the same price.
Does anyone have experience with the yield of whole chickens used for pulled chicken compared to chicken thighs.

I use whole chicken all the time, I get them from costco . I get about 2.25 to 2.75 pounds when pulled depending on weight of chicken. Hope that helps you.
