Default Upstate NY Practice Comp?

First, I never even realized such things as practice BBQ competitions even existed. Is that how you get your wife to let you drink beer all weekend?

My team and I are taking the dive into full KCBS events and was wondering if anyone knew of any practice runs in Upstate NY, preferably near the Rochester area?

There are none that I am aware of. I don't think these are to popular, most teams dont have the resources or time to go through the motions without the chance of reward. Besides thats what your backyard is for :-).

Be happy to forward our team list, maybe a few other newer teams would be interested.
