The organizers are sending in the paperwork and are in touch with the governors office so looks like we'll have #6 for MI in the lower peninsula.

Note that this is also a Saturday/Sunday contest.

And best of all my mailing address is SPARTA MI :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: Travel time about 6-7 minutes.
 
Governors proclamation

They have the governors proclamation and the KCBS has their paperwork. We have a first year qualifier. Now how do I talk them into limiting it to 15 teams and not letting some people know until we get the 15 :icon_devil

I'll try find out in the next few weeks where they plan to set us up and let people know.
 
It's on the KCBS website. September 25-26. Has the proclamation so it's a qualifier. Entry form is up. 30x30 spaces plus 1 15 amp connection. Also doing Kids Q.

This makes 7 contests in Michigan this year counting the U.P. There's going to be more competition for our dollars moving forward and that means better deals for the cooks.
