Default BBQ pit built by a professional BBQ'r

Saw this on CL today. Anyone know this guy? Looks like a pretty heavy pit.

Need to be careful not to lean on one side or the other... Looks like it would tip!

The stack is located awful low. I'd be worried about stale smoke, or no smoke at all. I say, keep shopping.

It is part of the diffuser system. Not saying it will work, but if you look at the diffuser pipe in the chamber, that at least explains why those stacks are low.

Interesting pit in any case!

You should see what I have my eye on for $2000. Some fool built a pit half the size of the Brazos which main chamber alone is 128 inches by 48, but he made it if 1/2 thick stainless steel (I have NO idea where he got that)

sold it to the church... church doesn't use it ... they want 2 gs for it.

Very interesting design looks like avery well built smoker Wonder why the stack on end, maybe a way to control heat. I like the firebox if that thing work good it proll be worth it , Don't see any danger of tip over
