Default Smo-Fried Ribs

Made these for the Superbowl and they were awesome! I smoked a rack of spares, sauced it, then breaded in Japanese breadcrumbs and deep fried. And guess what sauce I served them with?

Those look awesome. Did you use an eggwash? or just straight in the panko?

I left the ribs chill so the sauce would firm up, tossed in seasoned flour, then beaten egg, then panko and fried for about 6 minutes.

Did that once in my turkey fryer - made a beer batter and dipped already smoked individual ribs in it then into the peanut oil - friends thought I was crazy but OMG they were good!! Also had beef ribs done this way - Yum

I've heard of this before, but this is the first time I've seen it. I've always been too scared to try it though. Now that I have fried some bacon though, I think I am better prepared.
