2/7: Polar Swine IV - Eisenhower State Park, KS
Polar Swine IV is here for 2009:
A Contest. A Party. A test of your resolve. Some initial info: Location: Melvern Lake/Eisenhower state park (KS) Size: Limited to 25 teams Entry fee: $100 Prizes: Win or go home.
Food is presented to the judges - no blind judging. 3 categories -Brisket, Ribs, Sausage No Garnish Any pit type is allowed - only restriction is open/ground pits. (including gas, electric, and forced draft) Not a KCBS sanctioned event. If this interests you - email me for an entry form and contest packet. Update - For those planning on attending - please confirm by 1/24. I like to get the attending team's names on the shirts.

I'm in...Melvern Cabin reserved.
Are the cook sites on pavement or dirt? Do most folks stay Saturday night or go home after judging?
