The kids had glazed apples this morning and I made some extras for a fatty. Here's the pron with some pork ribs on the CG with cherry wood as the smoke. You'll have to wait for the finished pron. Doing a 3-1-1 method today.

Apples and cheese work. Fatties and cheese work. I'm not sure about the raisins though. I'd definitely be willing to sample it though.:smile: I'll PM you my addy.:wink:
 
Never did a recipe but here goes;
Glazed Apples
4 Apples (cut into rings)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup wine or apple juice
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 cinnamon
a pinch nutmeg
1/2 cup sugar

Melt butter in pan. Fry apples until lightly brown, turning once. Mix wine or juice, lemon juice, ginger cinnamon & nutmeg in a bowl. Return all apples into pan and pour liquid into pan. Sprinkle in sugar and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes and serve warm.

If the mods want to post on the recipe page, I have no problem with that.
 
dry cherries and raisins in a fatty? I'd like to think I inspired that. Try them with dried cranberries and cream cheese.
 
Gary, Food looks great! I like the bendable exhaust mod on your CG. I have the straight piece of rolled aluminum in mine and I am always closing the lid and cutting into the meat.
 
I'm always looking for more fatty ideas, but those glazed apples w/raisins just sound awesome... another recipe for the file. :)
