Default This Is Just Not a Pretty Picture

A 14lb Turkey off the EGG.

Brined for 26 hours with a simple mixture of Salt, Sugar and Pepper.

Used a little Apple wood, for 2 3/4 hours at 325º. Not much smoke flavor.

Sure was not a pretty bird but was very tender, moist and flavorful.

Plan on doing 2 for Turkey Day, 1 in the oven 24lb'r and another on the EGG using Pecan this time.

I'd let you screw one up like that for me. If you want more color spritz with Dr pepper.
