2nd Comp: A fun time was had by all

Just got back from our second comp and placed 3rd in Pulled Pork. Our ribs were very good, but I knew the moment I tasted one that they were not great. I still felt that we had a good chance of placing though (guess I was obviously wrong). We had a great time. This morning my 8 year old showed up wearing her Right Stuff shirt "ready to roll". She even helped deliver the turn-in boxes. We cooked 2 Boston Butts, 3 racks ribs, Brunswick Stew, ABTs, Fattys and a concotion that my wife put together with vienna sausage: slit and stuff with japs, wrap in bacon and smoke. They were pretty good. This afternoon when they called our name, I thought my 8 year old was gonna run up there and grab the trophy before we could get out of our seats!

Yeah, this particular contest we had to turn in a minimum of 5 pieces.
