The official Todd's Dirt Review cook has started. The Costco Tri-Tip Steaks are seasoned and waiting for the coals to get done.
![]() ![]() Lots of herbs. It's got oregano and slight "poultry seasoning" smell. Standby! |

A few more shots of the cook:
On the grill: ![]() After a good grilling: ![]() And the money shot: ![]() Okay, this stuff ROCKS! No question about it. I love the flavor profile this gave the beef. It's got some italian seasoning type herbs in it. The only one listed is oregano. As I mentioned in the first post in this thread, it smelled a little like poultry seasoning when I first opened it up. But after the grilling it didn't taste anything like poultry seasoning. I'm going to have to try it on chicken and pork. I think it would give a great flavor to ABTs and Fatties too. I'm going to also give it a try on some grilled veggies. I also purchased the seafood version and can't wait to try it. It's not a rub. It's a seasoning. I wouldn't use it in smoking something for long smokes. I don't think the herbs would hold up the long heat and smoke. The flavors in Todd's Dirt are a fantastic compliment to the meat. It added flavor while still allowing the "beef" to come through. If you get a chance...try it. I'm going to be using this a lot. |

I'm gonna have to try this. Heck I need a whole pantry just for sauces and seasonings as it is though.
Thanks for the review. |

Hey Guys,
I have been using this stuff for about 6 months. I put it on about anything. Just like the Dirt Dude says, it really is great on chicken, and pork and anything else you put on the grill. I grilled Mahi Mahi on sunday and shish cobobs with both seasoning and everybody was raving. I have BBQ with it. The ribs were ok, but it made my sauce even better. Pulled pork is really good. Very different then most pulled porks I have tasted. I also did a brisket and I have to tell it was pretty good. My favorite is on a Steak and corn on the cob. My wife and kids love this Dirt. They also like it in a dip and just dipping it in the olive oil and dirt with bread. It is trully the most different seasoning I have seen to grill with in a long time. Big Dog loves Weber |
