Bassace, that collection is approaching mine! Nice looking family there. Between you, Phesant, and me we could own all of the CL Webers in NE Wisconsin! (You know, Brethren looking out for Brethren.)

Hoss (my nickname in high school BTW) What do you want to know about WSM mods?

Ask away!

Harbormaster, I have not found one on CL at a price I was willing to pay but the SJ(N) was junk picked and all it needed was a cooking grate.

I also have a 18 and 22 inch Bar B Kettles stored at my parents so they were not available for the portrait.

Smoking in my weber is much easier to do, then smoking in my master built. I really love my weber. and if anyone has anything bad to say about weber grills, then they got me to answer to :)

Since we are 21 pages into this thread, just what is required to join the Society? Owning Webers? Rescuing Webers? Herding Webers?

I will have to get pics of mine (have multiples) in the next day or so and post. I SWEAR,
as good as the 7 yr old one cooks, the 15 year old Weber cooks BETTER!!!!

I bet that's just from your state of mind. It's the cook, not the cooker.

I swear, I use them together MANY times. When I want to cook slow n low,
both cooking the same stuff, that old one holds the temps longer... When
I want to cook hot n fast, the old one cooks on temps better... Just
bizarre... I love them both, but that old one defies logic. It's old n ugly,
but man is it a great cooker....

Got my 22.5 OTS with melted handle. And.... loving it!

Swear it is the best grill you can use.

Am looking to get a gasser (to appease certain influential family members), and am campaigning to make it a Weber.
