Default Roll Call: Mt. Vernon, Illinois

Okay, who's braving the Illinois weather to come out and play in Mt. Vernon this weekend?

Bandit BBQ will be there, and celebrating our 1 year anniversary in competition world. Come on by and say hello! (We're in the short (white) bus)

Carpe 'Que,
Jim Rhino

Hey Chris,

If you go slummin', and find the short white bus, stop in for a hello!

See you in Mt. Vernon.

You guys take care in coming down. Clear at the moment down here, but storms expected later. I have to work until at least 4pm...bummer...but will be down around 5pm as long as everything goes well at work.

Stop by for a Howdy!

Headed to the inlaws this weekend and passed through Mt. Vernon. Stopped at McDs and took a quick look at the setup. Looks to be a nice setup, although the weather is going to be like all hell breaking loose.

Good luck boys. Looked nice, we might try and make it next year.

Good contest! Troy does a great job and is very attentive to the teams (he's a competitive cook too). They have plenty of power and water to each cooks site and plenty of room for RV and big trailers.

I think this was their 6th year for the contest...it was our 2nd year competing. I will definately go back next year...hope to see you there!

Carpe 'Que,
Jim
