Default ABT filling tool?

I did a few searches through the forums, but couldn't really find what I was looking for, so I'll start a new thread to ask the question:

What is a good tool to use for filling ABT's? I'm thinking something along the lines of a cookie press or a cake decorating thingy. Something to make the process go faster and create less mess when I'm making them.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Anyone try a cookie press? Got a good model to recommend?

I use a 1 gallon zip top bag with a corner cut out. Fill that sucker up and the twist the open end until it's tight and then give the bag a squeeze and the filling come out the cut corner. The key is to not fill the bag more than 1/2 full.

I use a "chili twister" to clean out the jap, then put my filling in a pastry bag with a large nozzle (I actually made the nozzle hole larger). Then just squeeze the filling into the jap. It makes quick work of ABT's. It doesn't take long at all to prepare a couple dozen.

I have standing orders from BIL and FIL to call them when I make them, so I always have to make at lease 2 dozen.

I use a Zip-lack bag with the corner cut off to the size I need. Quick, easy, and no cleanup when you're done, just throw the bag away.

I just bought a cookie press like this one, but the one I purchased was from Smart and Final and it is plastic, not stainless. They are $20. This thing made filling ABTs a freaking breeze!!

I did two reviews on my blog, one for the chili twister and the other on the jalapeno corer. Both are EXCELLENT TOOLS!

I personally like the corer the best but check out the articles and photos and decide which you prefer

Don't do dozens because the labor but now I might have to do the 100+ for our fishing club parking lot parties in Half Moon Bay, CA when we have our Inaugeral Boat Waxing Derby (since salmon season is closed on the West Coast).

Excellent review. I have 2 different sizes of the chili twister, so depending on the size of the jap, I use one or the other. Haven't tore many Japs that way. However, I'm going to have to pick up one of those corers. Thanks for the heads up.
