Default conession stand vending profit margin

what kind of profit margin would you expect for a fixed concession stand at a recreactional kids ball league?

I'm thinking 50%, what say ya'll?

Depends on what the money goes to.
Ideally you should always try to keep "food costs" below 30% - Ideally 25-27%. But, if you're dealing canned/bottled drinks, candy, and snacks -- yeah 50% (100% markup) is pretty much a norm. I'd like to think I wouldn't gouge rec league parents and players.

I agree with Chad but if you can vend and clear 50% your doing good.
