Comp. Organizers

Hi,

If you are a competition organizer, I need your help.

It would help me (and the community in general) greatly if you could do some very basic and simple leg work and find out what sort of economic impact your event has had on the community surrounding it.

For example, if you find out how much more business local merchants did during the competition as opposed to the following or preceding weekend, that would be great.

Any information like that would be really helpful. I'm going to try to put together a prospectus for Chambers of Commerce selling them on the idea of hosting competitions. This would be an open-source document available to anyone who wants it.
