Very interesting site. I clicked on the "gallery" link down at the bottom and looked at some of the smoker/smokehouses thoses guys have.
I saw several UDS type smokers with fireboxes a few feet away, more for cold smoking I would think. This guy is using an old tree stump as his smoker! http://www.wedlinydomowe.com/photo_g...s/poliwoda.htm

I followed the links from that page, that looks like a great book! Check out the pics of some of the smoke shacks these dudes built...and lots of Euro UDS's!
