saw it before,,, surprised at how many teams were using lighter fluid to start their fires.

I think the team that won finished their steaks (in the little grill) the side fire box because the chamber was too hot.........

This the one where the competition provides the steaks and each team cooks like 100 of them? What cut are they using, rib eye?

Yes, it was pretty cool. Most were using big smoker and mods to use as a grill. I believe the host provided like 2500 rib eye steaks for the competitors to cook.

Rick, I was also surprised the rib-eyes were so thin. Pretty small margine for error trying to cook medium for the judges.
