Who has 2008 Schedules Finalized Already?

I think I've about nailed our's down now:

April 11-12: Osage city, KS
May 2-3: St. Joseph, MO
May 23-25: Great American BBQ
June 13-14: Sedalia, MO
June 27-28: Still deciding between Marshalltown, Boonville or Cameron (open suggestions as to pros and cons of each)
Sept 5-6: Blue Springs, MO
Sept 19-20: Kearney, MO
Oct 10-11: De Soto, KS

That's like five contests fewer than 2007. Will probably cook 2 or 3 with other teams. May also cook Laurie, MO or Windsor, MO with someone I discussed it with over the weekend.

October schedule TBD.

This will be the most I've done in one year. But downsizing and driving the truck instead of the motorhome makes the trips easier, especially when it's windy. And next year I'll probably do Westmount IL instead of the GAB.

Grand Rapids has changed their date twice in as many years. We're flying in for Harpoon. I will DEFINITELY see you at the GAB and hopefully in October!

I've about got ours nailed. I keep trying to pair it down, and then more show up on the list. Most of it is going to depend on job status. If I am employed, we'll go ahead and do 18-20 again. I'm hoping to start the season at Pleasant Hill and close out at the Royal (maybe Desoto).

I think I am on draft # 50 so far... Steph keeps adding new contests and I keep adding them to my schedule.. I was planning on doing 15... I think last count it was at 20... I need to cut a few back... As I don't want to do that many...

I am hoping to do Desoto in October but my wife is due in September so that may be pushing it, It also rules out the hot months and September I think I am going to take a judging class and try to judge a few so I can get my fix over the summer.

That doesn't mean they can't come visit you! My little guy was just over a month old when my wife brought him to his first contest in North KC last March.
