Default Another Delivery came in the mail today.

After last weeks favorite BBQ books posting, I was inspired to order a few books. (to go along with my one bbq book "Smoke and Spice". So today I recieved a whole bunch of new books in the mail including:

Peace, Love, and BBQ (1st one I am reading)
John Willingham's World Championship BBQ
Dr BBQs Big Time BBQ Cookbook
Dr BBQs All Year Long BBQ Cookbook
Paul Kirk's Championship BBQ

I got all the books from a used book store, so paid around $3-$6 each plus shipping. Regardless to say, I have some reading ahead of me.

I just got done reading Paul Kirks book...Very good and lots of good recipes and techniques...I'm reading Smoke and Spice for the 2nd time...

Let us know how you like the other books...

Dr. BBQ's Road Trip is good, too. I bought it with a Christmas gift card.

I'm interested in the Willingham book. From what I've heard, he relied/relies more on rubs than smoke. I picked up a bottle of the "Original W'ham" down at The Jack, and it is interesting. I've only had it on chicken and potatoes so far. His standing rotating cookers are neat, but they look like the old-fashioned popcorn stands.

Yeah, actually the Willingham book discourages smoke. It encourages wood coals for heat, but releasing no smoke.
