Default Wood chunk sizes used in Eggs

OK guys and gals. I've seen and heard sizes from chips up to softballs. I use 2 different sizes. What about everyone else. I use the size below mixed throughout the lump. I use a chunk 2-3x that size on top of the coals at the beginnig. If I need a little more smoke I'll drop one like below down the side and use my wiggle rod to get it on the coals.

I'll show you mine and you show me yours....

I won 40 pounds of apple and cherry chunks on the Cookshack forum last year and I use them in my Cookshack, in the WSM and now in the Egg. They are roughly 2" X 3" X 1", give or take. I'll take a picture once the digital camera battery is finished charging

not counting the lump (which is actually wood chunks )
the largest wood chunks i've used were hickory chunks almost the size of my fist. most of the time, i'll use three to four cups of chips spread over the top of the lump pile.

I use chips mixed within the lump and splits on top.

A mod I make on all grates is cutting out a few crossbars so I can add a split when needed during direct cooks.
