Default Kansas City Lunch

I just wanted to say thank you to all that managed to so up at Oklahoma Joe’s for lunch on Friday the 21st!!! I am currently in Kansas City for an early Christmas with my Sister and the rest of my immediate family, and had hoped some of us could get together. I know that the timing wasn’t the greatest being the Friday before Christmas but still, we had 8 Brethren and 1 guest (my BIL made it to)! It was a little tough for me to locate you so we decided to do what all good brothers would do, we adapted and overcame (with BBQ sauce no less )!!!

This would have been easier if we had hats! (Sorry, but it’s the truth.) The ironic thing is that the next day I received a Brethren tee shirt for Christmas. Talk about the timing being a day late… lol

We had a great lunch and talked of many things. Alright, we talked about BBQ and only BBQ…

Thanks again and I’ll be back in spring. Maybe we can do it again!!!

Jeff

Sorry I couldn't make it. I sat in that traffic for 45 minutes only to go about 1.5 miles. Shot my entire lunch hour.

It was good to meet up with some local and remote Brethren. Jeff (Divemaster) in from Chicago and Jerry (Barbarian) from California were the out of towners, and good folks to boot.

Plowboy, even though you weren't there, I picked up a bottle of your yardbird rub. So you didn't have to do the sales pitch in person. Good stuff.
