OK Brothers,
You know me weather I need it or not if I see it I take it as a personal challenge to see if I can make it. Is this worth while?

I don't know that you even really need a stone for the grill. When I do Pizza on the grill, I just place the rolled dough on the grill, turn it once, flip it, leae it for a little bit to start cooking the other side, take it back inside and top it, then back out to the grill to finish the bake. Keep the lid closed and after a few mintues, when the cheese has melted, pretty much everything else is good to go. I use precooked items on the pizza so you don't have to wait for the meat to cook.

9. Low cost. (under $250 grill not included)

That better be WAY BELOW $250. I would think $50 would be about right.

I've broken two stones on our grill. They just get too hot and like explode.

With the right set-up (like Tom's rig for the BGE I mentioned to you) that looks possible. I wonder if a disposable round pizza pan would work as the top reflector.

A guy named Old Dave uses a pizza stone a couple inches above chicken toward the end of his cook to crisp the skin.

Those stones look a little thin to me. I've also cracked a stone in my gasser and I would not recommend using "Super Stone" brand sold at LNT or BB&B.
