Bubba,

The Scotsman finished 36 overall out of 60 teams. I was the one that was helping them. High points were pork 24th and chicken 24th.
Lotta bull won ribs but finished 30th overall. J-Mac Smokers were grand champions.

Finally got back home last night. Had a great time, but OMG....."hotter than a freshly ****** fox in a forest fire!! A record breaking 112 in the shade...one of the guys working the fair actually died from the heat.

Met some great folks and had a good time.A great big thanks to Larry from Big Blue BBQ for helping us out!!!! Here are the overall rankings. A bit dissapointed for our second comp...but we'll keep plugging away. Congrat's to all who walked and survived the heat!!!!

Same here Ray, first stop when we got back to town was at the emergency walk in clinic....apparantley my pottasium level was way to low...doc says that kind of heat can really take it's toll.

On a better note it was a great comp and plan on returning next year...hopefully it will only be in the chilly 90's
