You just piqued my interest. You need to start a thread and post a lot of pics of that thing.

We actually cut them in half and toss them in the dumpster when we get over loaded which is usually once a month. Also I know CountryHB found a place in El Monte that sells clean ones as well.

They look like this:
Do the drums have removable tops?

Did not want to start an new thread so will side track this one!

Picked up my drum from Brother HB-BBQ yesterday. Went by Norcorednecks place on the way back from San Diego to get the lids cut off.

Scored some parts from Pat to do the lid.

Now the hard part begins, to try and out do all the good looking drums on this site!

Remember kids large cans have sharp edges too!

Whoa!...I hope you've had a recent tetanus shot? Looks like you are well on your way to a cool "UDS". I'm on the fence again about design. I don't have the space for Country's mod ...so I'm leaning again toward this one that "swamprb" found (thanks Brian)http://www.randyq.addr.com/friends/m...gnum_force.htm

Anyhoo...I'm on hold for a while till I get the house painted ! Hope your project turns out.

JD
