I saw a post a week or so ago about the log splitting and Harbor Freight has knocked another $5 off this splitter. This Fri, Sat and Sun only though.

My hunting buddy chops a lotta wood. Anybody used one of these particular ones? Might get him a combined birthday/Christmas present if this is a good one.

You could also buy the air over hydraulic pedal and use an air compressor to operate the log splitter. I have a buddy that has a H/F tubing bender set up that way. Works pretty slick. Saves the arms.
