Waited for the rain to subside to try out some dessert on the Weber kettle. Peaches were mixed with nutmeg, lemon juice, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and a touch of clove. Topped with a biscuit like batter and cooked for around 45 minutes. Served with vanilla bean ice cream. Came out great!

Yes Titch the lemon really brightened it up. I'm lucky to have a couple lemon trees in my yard.

Speaking of peach cobbler, have you watched season 9 episode 23 of Two and a Half Men?

No I have not seen it, what did I miss?

I;ve never done peach cobbler on the grill. Does it have a smoky flavor?

I did notice a bit of smoke flavor on the crust, very subtle.

Peach cobbler, one of my all time favorites.

Wow that looks great. I'm lazy by nature and usually make the easy cheater Paula Dean cobbler with the stick of butter.
