Default Smokin Gator Wings

This weekend we had some smoked wings with Smokin Gator's wing rub that Pigboy got in the last trade. They were excellent and a different wing than I've ever had. Apparently, you cook the wings dry and then put the rub immediately after they come off of the cooker.

Maybe we farked up the directions, but they were good that way. I came back and ate a half dozen more after they were cold... still good.

Glad you like 'em Plowboy... you must like a little spice!!!

They are great just the way you did 'em. If you ever get the chance try this... smoke for 3 hours then put then in a fryer for about 3-4 minutes to really crisp them. Then sprinkle with the rub and serve. MMMMmmmmm. I love those little suckers!!!

I didn't think they were that hot. The texture of the dry rub was excellent on them.
