Default Brooksville, FL (FBA) event Oct 21

I'll be judging the FBA competition at Brooksville, FL, tomorrow. I'm planning on getting there early enough to say "HI" to Kevin, Rub, maybe Mike and Jimmy and whoever else shows up.

I just got home a while ago from Brooksville, FL.

Really nice first year event...well managed, SHADED grassy sites, good water and electric availability, etc.

Twenty-one teams with four brand new teams...two of them walked! Guess they have been sucked over to the DARK SIDE!

Congrats to Kevin, Mike, Jimmy, and Rub. I was able to talk up our little part of the WWW and we may see a few new members. I also met a new, to me, brother - and I've forgotten his name and "name"

I hope to see these guys at Kissimmee next weekend - assuming I can get a Saturday kitchen pass two weekends in a row!!

Thanks guys, and congrats to Kevin on yet ANOTHER GC - holy smokes! You can bet $$ that this weekend I will be paying much closer attention to my notes from your class. And btw, I found the "stolen" rub and sauce.

Good seeing you again Dave!

Now I know why you get called so much!!!!
Your Pork is out of this world. I would have liked to spend some more time with it but when I got back from turn-in BigJimQ had already ate it all. The brisket was very good also. Thanks for the comment on the rib. I thought it was one of the best rib boxes I ever sent up. Just no cigar!

See you guys in Kississimmeeeeeee
BTW Doug (armyman) is coming

I had stashed them for safe keeping, hidden under a seat in my truck. As soon as I looked in that general direction while unloading at home, I knew.

See you guys in a few days!
