Hi, I’m Dave,
Had come across this site a few times looking for tips and answers on bbqing and figured I might as well join 👍🏻.

Got my first taste of low n slow bbq on a visit to USA, more specifically Bad bobs bbq in Murray KY, the pulled pork and baby back ribs were like nothing ive ever had before, thus starting my love for this style of bbqing.

So Started cooking on a Weber 22” kettle which was good but had its challenges. Moved on to a fornetto Razzo 18” which has been really good to cook but lacks the size for the bigger meats I want to cook.

Which leaves me with my recently finished UDS ( have questions to ask about this, but will save for different thread) which I’ve yet to have a proper cook on, but should be good with the capacity it has.

Looking forward to just learning more and seeing all the great bbq pics from the bbq brethren community 👍🏻.

Welcome aboard Dave, glad to have you as a fellow Brethren here. We have several active members in Australia, not sure if any are even close to you.

I hope to see you in the Q-Talk forum soon. You'll find help on almost every topic from cooking your first Pork Butt to curing and smoking your own ham and bacon.

If you can't find the topic you need help with, or have questions about, just start a new thread in "Q-Talk". There are many people with years of experience that are willing to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction.

Welcome from SouthCarolina, Dave. It's good to have you on this great site. There are a lot of fine folk here who are always eager to share their ideas, recipes and tips. All you have to do is ask away and keep reading.

Keep cooking and keep smoking.
