Some smartypants TD winner picked a really specific idea for a TD. You had to cook a ribeye over 1 inch thick, show it sliced in your cook thread and serve it with a green vege and baked potato. Well, I never liked to color in the lines at school, so I figured I go my own route.

Thick Ribeye, check.

I seasoned that with kosher salt, fresh cracked pepper, a little Korean marinade and sesame seeds.

My spud went in the oven while the steak was getting happy.

Then I went to work prepping some vege. I had bok choy, broccoli, cucumber and carrot (not all pictured).

I was headed in a Korean direction....hot kimchi and gochujang were at the ready.

Somewhere I missed my pics of the spud sliced in half, buttered, then baked further to crisp up. You can see it in the plate pic nicely sliced. Who knew crispy spuds with rice paired well.

Here's the meal plated up....

Enjoy.

That is one fine looking plate. I like that trick with slicing of the potato and buttering then baking some more. Will have to try that.
