Now that Weber makes a 14.5" WSM, has anyone looked into just purchasing a replacement center. If it cost about the same as these pots or just a little more, it may be just as cost effective.

followed his idea(sort of).
the cutting of it was a pain with a razorblade. the red grill was really fun and didn't come out as good as his...the charcoal basket and ash stopper work well
