Grill Kings - Open Garnish - Help with definition

Hey brothers - can you guys let me know what is meant by "Open Garnish" for the grilling portion of Grill Kings - I forgot what the rule is, and the cooks packet doesn't seem to explain it

Open garnish is that you can use anything you want as long as it's edible. Here's pics from what we did at last year's Grill Kings. If you want more info, you can look at my blog's archives.
