I got a couple of pork butts from Costco yesterday... they are going on the smoker tomorrow morning.

Oh, they will be kept company later in the day by a big pan of smoked mac-n-cheese. (This will be my first foray into smoked M-n-C... I hope it's good!)

Just dropped a 13# turkey in Oakridge BBQ Game Changer Brine for a 24 hour soak, probably spatchcock and cook on the 26.75 OGT.

Might smoke up some lollipop style chicken legs this weekend, either that or some spare ribs.

Chicken, Ribs, Pork Butt and Brisket. I am pretending I am at the Tony Stone! I will win in my own yard for sure! Hope I don't miss the turn in times! Thalia is pretty strict on the rules! LOL

Happy Birthday to you Phu! I will celebrate your birthday with a "MINE" tonight.
Am cooking venison tonight, that's as far as I've planned.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend Phu and all!

My first pulled arm roast. I tried the pepper stout chuckie a few weeks ago. it was good but tasted more like a fall or winter dish. I think I am going to try to summer this one up. Any suggestions?
