Default Weber Q100 Mod

Warning not UL approved - Do not try this at home

I had this grill for a few years- I hated that it never got hot enough so...
Took off regulator and added a 10PSI adjustable regulator and drilled out the gas orifice. No problem with heat now!

I used to have one of those overpriced table models, I will agree, it didn't put out that much heat. Wished I saw this before getting rid of it.

i hope you don't cook on it that way. hows the paint holding up ?
and the body ? and the plastic legs ? they will melt at that kind of temps.

I Did the adjustable regulator also. What a a difference, no problem with whatever heat I need!!

how much did you drill the orifice? i'm gonna look into not doing this.
