Default Some Biscuits and Gravy

Nothing fancy, just breakfast on my little charcoal cooker.
The wind was supposed to come up that morning so I played it safe and used my charcoal cooker instead of building a fire to cook breakfast.

Had to shuffle skillets around a bit but it worked out ok.

I place my biscuits in a buttered pie pan, top it with another buttered pie pan wrap the whole thing in foil and place over the coals. I flip and rotate them for even cooking.
Also started browning a skillet of sausage.

fried some hashbrowns..

added flour and seasoning then milk to the browned sausage to make the gravy...

scrambled a few eggs in butter...

that was pretty much it.

my biscuits..

the biscuits and sausage gravy...

biscuits n gravy, hash browns, eggs and fruit to make it look healthy..

tasted pretty good at the time and I enjoyed the rest of the day. :)

Thanks for looking!!

Jeanie, I love to go camping and you are killing me! I have to pretend camp at home with my Dutch Ovens outdoors. It's really good though! Very nice post. :)

The only way your post could have been better would be a slight bend in the rod on the last pic. Then again you didn't need to catch anything after such a great meal.

I love sausage gravy and biscuits.

Have to remember the tip of buttering 2 pie pans & wrapping in foil & flipping them to get the biscuits to cook evenly. Might do some biscuits that way when camping this weekend.
