Default Classes specifically for Q on a BWS or similar smoker?

I'm not a competition Q'er by any stretch of the imagination, but I am proud of the food I make for my friends and family and I want to do the best job of it I can. I weep when my sister-in-law says things like " pulled pork sandwiches like Burger King?", and I'm doing my best to show these folks what real BBQ tastes like. Being a displaced Kansas Cit-ian, I've introduced them to the magic of burnt ends and brisket!

That said, I'm always looking for ways to get better. I've looked into the Myron Mixon classes and some others, and although they look fantastic I was really hoping to find some designed around a smoker like mine. If there aren't any out there I will happily schedule for one of these others, but I figured this would be the best place to check this out. Thanks, Brethren!

Not sure about all of their classes, but 3 Eyz cook on Backwoods Smokers in competition and used them in the recent East vs West Comp Class. Contact Dan
(3 Eyz) or Chris (Big Ugly's) they are both Brethren and will get you straightened out on the BWS!

Chris Hart used Yoders and Backwoods when I took his class last year and taught different techniques depending on the type of cooker you're using.

Donny Bray from Warren County Pork Choppers is teaching classes this year and cook on a Backwoods G2 Competitor and G2 Party. He tied for KCBS Team of the Year in 2013 and is leading this year. Great guy with a unique approach to BBQ.

Malcom and Waylon Reed of the Killer Hogs team join up with Mark Lambert of Sweet Swine O' Mine (last years Memphis in May Grand Champion), along with Boars Night Out teach a fantastic class. They go through a complete KCBS cook, and a MBN cook that includes cooking whole hog! The next one is scheduled for July and it's held in the Memphis, TN area. All three of the teams cook on Backwoods Smokers. They also use Ole Hickory and Yoder Smokers pellet smokers. Mark Lambert is the number one Backwoods dealer in the country, I believe. The Ole Hickory guys came down from Missouri and I was there with an extensive display of what Yoder Smokers offers. Dave Bouska from Butcher BBQ attended the last class. It was a great time. Tons of information to take in. The class is called BBQ Live. I'm pretty sure you can find info at killerhogs.com or howtobbqright.com.
