Default Steak dinner in snowy NC

Just moved into a new place and we decided(saturday) that we'd pick up some big steaks and bust out out first cook there on Tuesday as we figured(rightly) we'd be about done moving in late Monday. Well, picked up some steaks Monday night and BOOM it actually snowed on Tuesday.

Didn't stop me though. Cranked out some corn, taters and ribeyes that were 1.86 lbs each! And man were they good!

Sorry for the lack of action shots but, it was cold, snowing, windy and getting dark.

Great looking steaks! I am just down the road from you in Denver,NC and snow is fairly rare here. Looks like it will be gone soon too.

Thanks guys.

Almost forgot to mention the process.

ribeyes- choice from harris teeter(love me some HT)

seasoning- blend of tatonka dust, granulated garlic, tiny bit of weber steak and chop went on an hour before. Fresh cracked pepper on just before along with some kosher salt.

Was pleasantly surprised with the Harris teeter 100% hardwood charcoal. Took a bit to get going but had a good aroma and had some serious burn time. Stuff was still going 5 hours later in the weber.

Reverse sear as usual and used grill grates to do what they do, which is make a dang pretty grill mark.
