Mmmmm, thanks for making me hungry this morning already. I need to throw some more butts on the smoker this weekend. Ran out over last weekend making brunswick stew. And now since I got a Foodsaver for Christmas, the smoker will hopefully see more use.

Wish this cold weather would break...brrrrr....28* here in Atlanta...

I smoked two butts weekend before last and it was really pleasant with temps in the mid 50-60 range. Got up this morning with temps of 25° with wind chill of 15°. I’m ready for spring already. This is unusually cold temps for this part of the country. Good luck with your cook.

Turned out to be a pretty nice day here. Up to 29 and sunny

Little over 8 hours through the cook and shes sitting at 156*, debate is now...to foil or go for bark. I'm thinking bark...the Mrs. says to foil it. Not sure who will win this. To dang cold to sleep outside.

I almost didn't read this post because your title scared me off. Then I re-read it and it's OK.
