Lowes is carring coshell in my area so I thought I would give it a whirl!

Seasoned up the ribeyes!

Fire was nice I think I like Stubbs better!

Everything is finished now time to eat!

Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did eating it!

Great steaks. Tell us a little more about the coshell charcoal, did you like it? Our Lowes is carrying it too but I'm pretty well hooked on Stubbs so I passed.

I was going there to buy Stubbs because thats what I usually buy but they had this 18lbs for $9 something. It burns like stubbs but it has very little smell. I don't see anything wrong with it, I will use it in my UDS until its gone because I will be burning wood chunks too. I will go back to Stubbs cause it smells and cooks so good!

So you wouldn't recommend trying it? I've heard of it but never used it myself...

If you're not happy with what you're using try it. But for me Stubbs adds flavor that I like, and coshell is a heat source IMO.
