Default Playoffs Bacon Bowl

This is my first attempt at a bacon bowl. I wanted to create a good appetizer for the playoff games today. These are sautéed mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat and cream cheese mixture, topped with marinated shrimp.

The starting lineup.

In the huddle.

Softening up the mushrooms in wine and butter.

Bowls ready to come off.

Prep time.

Stuffed and wrapped.

Back on the Weber.

These were good.

Thanks for looking.

Impressive looking presentation!

once question though, how was the balance of flavors with this? Did the bacon flavor overpower the crab/shrimp taste?

Not at all. There was a lot of crab in the stuffing and that is what I tasted mostly.

Looks great. There's just something wonderful about the term "bacon bowl".

Those look awesome. I'm gonna have to steal the bacon bowl idea if you don't mind.
