Maurice's bbq sauce out of Columbia SC , is a good commercial one .
I usually make my own , basically use Roxy's recipe.

Melvin's is great. I've never had the store bought sauce, but if it is as good as the restaurant then that is OK by me.

The first one has a more earthy flavor from the Chili powder

As far as a more "traditional" mustard/vinegar, I make my own. It's super easy, but is absolutely one of my favorites on all things BBQ.

I use this recipe. Simple and excellent....

Come to think of it, I've had the Blues Hog version. Looking for something more traditional. Thanks for the recipe Wampus and everyone else!!

Cattleman's mustard sauce is amazing and is one of the few sauces with smoke flavor added that's worth buying Imo. I like to thin it out with a bit of apple juice and mop it on smoked chicken. Blues Hog's mustard sauce is top notch as well, but it didn't blow me away like their other sauces. Also, Famous Dave's mustard sauce is killer, but is more vinegar based than others. Those are the only mustard-based commercial sauces I can think of at the moment.

I usually hate mustard but tried Trader Joe's Carolina Gold mustard BBQ sauce and I love it.

I keep a couple of bottles of my own on hand. I'm working to clone the King's BBQ Sauce from the Richmond, VA area. It's kind of a cross between a mustard sauce and one of the vinegar mop sauces.

By all means try the Roxy sauce but one word of warning aside from being near addictive do not give into the temptation to take a good close sniff while it's simmering.

Default Bone Suckin' good

I love the Bone Suckin' sauces......regular, thick, and mustard. Haven't tried the hot one yet.....

They are so good, I rarely bother to make my own any more.

I won a bottle of KLBs "That's Good Mustard" BBQ sauce in a Twitter giveaway a year or two ago. I liked it, and so did my 3 year old (at the time) son. I would post the link to their site, but my work computer won't let me.

If you tell me not to do it, I'll do it.
