I found it on Amazon

The reviews for this battery pack are not good.

Can you check with a car battery, 12 VDC again.
If not good, I will send you a new replacement

I tried it with the power supply from the QMaster Jr, and same thing. The PS for the Jr is the same as the Sr, I also tried the PS from the Sr on the Jr, and it works.

I believe it is the switch that is bad. As I was turning it back on it acted like the switch was not working correctly.

My senior came in a few days ago, and I can't seem to get the temps calibrated. Also, even after setting the minimum fan speed per web instructions, the fan still only runs at my maximum setting. Any help is appreciated.

After calibrating, press button of "AT/M".
place both probes in boiling water, make both showing temp. as 212F

The fan will run faster or slower according to its own P,I,D math calculation.

But you must define minimum speed to avoid burning the fan, the parameter is Udc.

Also you can define maximum speed of fan by parameter of Hdc, say 40%,60% ect

I can hear mine speeding up and slowing down. Seems to do it more when bring the pit up to temp the first time.

The probes were reading cool initially so I put both probes in boiling water and the readings were in the low 190's. I adjusted the pb1 and pb2 values to get the temps to 212. After I removed them and they cooled to room temp(70 F)they were reading around 90. I did a reset and now they are back to where they were originally, Which is about ten degrees too low at room temp.

I haven't installed it on my smoker yet, just used my hands to heat and cool the pit probe to get the fan to start and stop. Maybe that is why I have not noticed the fan slowing and speeding. Thanks guys!

Usually you shall smoke meat at 225F, so calibrate at boiling point at 212F is enough.
The controller will predict the tendency or the "speed" of temperature changes, then decide the speed of fan.
