Default Getting New Place Certified - Need Equiptment Advice

Okay we have moved and the new place is under construction to get certified for catering. I need advice on a few items that is good and works for you.

1. commercial style pre-rinse kitchen faucet
2. grease traps (under the sink) type has been approved through my local health department is what I am required... any brand you like?
3. place to get SS prep tables and SS wire shelves... (I have looked on craigslist with no luck and I need these items soon.

What is the largest town near you? Check for restaurant suppliers. Most usually have some type of used equipment showroom. There is a discount for the used equipment, but some of it can be over priced for used. Also, have you checked business auctions in your area? That is where we picked up most of our equipment. You may have to drive a ways to pick it up, but the savings can more than pay for the transportation.

What kind of dish washing area are you going to have?

I don't know if there is a brand of grease trap that is better than another, just make sure it is well made. We bought our at an auction also.

Google "restaurant auction (your state)". Ex. restaurant auction MN

You can probably find most equipment you will need at these.
2 - WSM 18.5, 1 - WSM 22.5, and 1 - ECB Smoke n Pit.
