Default First kettle Boston butt

Smoked my first ever butt. A little stressful but well worth it. Used Trader Joe's briquettes. Stayed around the 235° mark most of the cook. No foil. 1/2 hour rest.

It tastes amazing. A little too much smoke I think. I like the smokey flavor and do not use dip normally because you cannot taste the flavor of the meat. The sauce may be good with this batch.

Looks good, nice cook overall. Kettles require smaller chunks and a little less wood to get a good smoke flavor

The way that boned pulled out tells me it was very tender and juicy. Great job
